Good luck on the 70.3! My friends and I are not racing Honu this year but please post another comment (and link to your race report if you write one) when you're done. We were just reminiscing on a training ride last weekend how difficult...uh, I mean FUN!!...Honu was. We each recounted our personal come to Jesus moments. ;) My first was at the 1:40 mark on the bike (see the power drop), the second on the final third of the run, on the lava field road. Biggest tip I could give for Honu, train for heat and grab ice at every aid station and put it under your hat and clothing. It's all about the heat. Good luck, stay cool, and kick butt!
